Youth Usage Guidelines
Youth ages 12-13 may use the upstairs workout area on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30–7:30 PM with a parent or guardian, after both have completed a weight training orientation. For safety reasons, youth under 14 are not permitted on the second-floor workout area.
Family time is available on the walking track Monday through Thursday from 7:00–8:00 PM. Parents or guardians must remain within arm’s reach of their children at all times.
Children in the Y
Children ages 12 and older may use YMCA facilities without parental supervision. Unstructured activities available include free play in the basketball court and game room.
All children ages 12 and under must be directly supervised at all times while in the YMCA by either:
A parent or guardian age 16 or older, or
A designated YMCA staff member.
Individuals under the age of 12 may not use a guest pass or purchase a day pass unless accompanied by a parent or guardian age 16 or older.
We strongly encourage parents to walk their children to scheduled programs and, whenever possible, remain to observe from designated parent viewing areas.

Youth Sports
We offer a variety of youth programs designed to keep kids active and engaged. The goal of the YMCA Youth Sports program is to teach children more than just how to win the game — we focus on values, teamwork, and building self-esteem. Our aim is to enhance sports skills while ensuring every child has fun and plays to the best of their ability.
A proud tradition of our 150-year-old organization is to give every child equal playing time in each game, fostering a positive and inclusive experience.

YMCA Sports Pledge: I pledge to play the game the best I can, to be a team player, to respect my opponent, and to improve myself in spirit, mind, and body.
Youth Memberships
At the Y, we offer many different types of memberships. If your whole family isn't able to use the YMCA, consider purchasing a Youth Membership. Youth memberships give kids access to the YMCA and membership discounts on all our programs. For more information, visit our Join the Y page.
